Finding a community

I absolutely loved this episode, so many great nuggets, curiosity over judgement - will apply to finding why my teenage bonus son is doing a bare minimum at school and try to build stronger relationship with him, the importance of community and that everything works out in the end. I am so grateful for this podcast. Listening to Susie and Rachel reminds me I am not alone in this crazy world of parenting my tween and teenager. Their advice and ideas have certainly helped me reflect on how I parent and how I can best manage this stage of our lives. I know that listening has certainly helped my family in many ways. They really are a virtual hug, I look forward to each new episode. I have recommended them to so many friends and have found their content has facilitated lots of really helpful conversations amongst my friends who are also navigating this parenting rollercoaster. Like having a chat with a friend

Amazing support

Hi, I want to thank you for your amazing support. I'm a mum to two girls, 15 and 12. Recently, I had my first-ever serious argument with my oldest, and it really got to me. I cried because I didn't expect her to talk to me like that. I went online to find help, wanting to fix things without messing up our relationship. I found your podcast, and now it's part of my Saturday routine. It made me realise we're entering a new phase, and I need to adjust how I relate to my daughter as she grows up. Thanks again for this great conversation, I appreciate that your discussions are based on research and real experience which is great.. keep it coming 🙌🏻

Extremely helpful

Just listened to one episode about self-harm and immediately followed the show. Finally, I got some really helpful tools to deal with my teen who refuses to see therapist. All other podcasts advise seeking therapist's help. If only it was that easy. Thank you for life saving tips and hope.

Brilliant podcast

Brilliant podcast for those of us facing the challenges of the "teenage phase". During the most recent summer my husband and I were running out of inspiration as far as our own teenager challenges were concerned and here we have found exactly what we needed. Many relevant episodes and a great many new discoveries on lots of other relevant topics. Also available via Alexa

Firstly, I love your podcast

On school stress: One helpful tip I use for her at school is to pin a piece of fabric with my perfume inside her jumper, so when she gets overwhelmed. It helps her calm and feel reassured.
