Dr. Michelle Chung

Dr. Michelle Chung is a clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based treatments for anxiety, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges, sports/performance psychology, and parenting. She is passionate about supporting kids, adults, and families through every life stage.
Dr. Chung graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and received a doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University – C.W. Post. She is the recipient of numerous fellowships, a Distinguished Alumni Award, and a Teaching Award at Mount Sinai. She has published her research in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, and is currently publishing two books. Dr. Chung presents at schools, for organizations, and sports teams (including Olympic teams), and runs workshops.
She serves on the boards of Your Mom Cares and Korean Community Services (KCS); teaches at Mt. Sinai Medical Center; and is the head of her own private practice, InPractice Psychology. Dr. Chung is the co-founder of Modern Approach to Parenting (MAP), which presents a parenting approach dedicated to helping kids build confidence and resilience and find balance in this high-pressure world.
