When the news feeds are full of negativity, and we humans already suffer a negative bias, the power of sharing positivite moments with our kids is incredible.

Talking openly about the good things in the world, and taking time to share positivity with our kids, can have a dramatic impact on their own mindset.

Yes, we face challenges, but we're setting 'normal' for our kids, so it's worth being mindful about the message we're handing them about the world.

Gratitude diaries can help us with our own mindset, but I have also found that the best way to start the day is by being deliberately grateful for five things in my life.

I walk around my home and notice those things, so I can hand that gratitude on to my kids.

Sharing a meal once a day, regardless of how simple it is, can be one of the most joyous events in a child's day. I like to have a game to hand that we can play at the end.

Last night I had the rare joy of having all four kids around the table. We played More or Less, a game that can be played between two which takes a crazy statistic and asks if the number presented is more or less than the data eg are there more cows or sheep in the world?

When we take time to enjoy our kids we build our connection and make the world a place worth living in.

This discussion with Tish, from @jamies_farm was packed full of amazing tips on how we can set up a really positive home environment where our kids can thrive.
