Tish, from Jamie's Farm, says difficult kids come to her and find their voice through being offered a sense of purpose, work on the farm, family meals, and the removal of devices.

She says the school system is now so formulaic and pressured that teachers are forced to shunt kids through a curriculum that bears no meaning to the lives of many kids.

When they come to @jamies_farm they get the chance to reconnect with nature and experience real purpose in their lives while building core skills.

Teachers have been stunned to see the transformation, and loud joy, when kids get to express rather than supress their natural exuberance.

I loved this interview because it taps into so much of what I've witnessed. Tish uses lots of solid, simple, routines on the farm that we can implement at home to ensure our kids experience purpose, joy and community.

The suggestions are great for teachers as well as parents.
