Teen emotions:
Yes, those things. The ones that can seem unfathomable, and require us to reach into the bottom of our reserves to manage our own feelings.
I had such a great talk with @mrichtel a fellow parent of teens, and Pulitzer prize-winning journalist and author of How We Gros Up. He has brilliant insights into how we can help our teens navigate a complicated world, and give them the skills they need to navigate tricky emotions.
I love his comparison of us trying to tell kids what to do when they're feeling hyped-up with hammering on a computer key board when things aren't going our way.
It doesn't fix anything, but who hasn't done that?
