Annie Maheux, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Winston Family Distinguished Fellow at the Winston National Center on Technology, Brain, and Psychological Development. Annie directs the Social Environments and Adolescence Lab, dedicated to understanding and supporting adolescents in the modern, digital era. Her research broadly addresses sociocultural and technological influences on adolescent development, with a focus on gender and well-being.
